Black coffee recipe is a healthy beverage and one of the best ways to start your

anytime by anyone at home. Basically, instant black coffee
recipe is prepared by brewing coffee powder in hot water. Its fresh,
refreshing and is prepared with only two basic ingredients. Black coffee is considered to have
multiple health benefits and is mostly served during breakfast time and at
afternoon.
Black coffee recipe is mainly prepared by brewing the coffee powder in hot water.
But still the coffee can be brewed in multiple ways according to each person’s
preference and taste.
Black coffee recipe can be prepared by fresh coffee beans and even with instant
coffee powder. Both are easily available in market.
For fresh coffee beans, you need to toss the
coffee beans in a dry pan for some time and then would need to grind it in a
coffee grinder after cooling down to room temperature before use.
Though the flavour of both the black coffee
recipe prepared with fresh coffee beans or instant coffee powder are much
different from each other but still both are very refreshing.
Traditionally black coffee recipe is prepared by adding the coffee powder after boiling the water
and it is simmered for some time for better aroma and taste. But now a days for instant black coffee recipe,
coffee powder is added to the cup and then boiled water is directly added into
the cup and stirred for instant result. But I personally prefer the traditional
way to prepare black coffee recipe. It takes little bit
of time and care but gives better result.
Usually in black coffee, no milk and sweetener are added. It is only prepared with
coffee powder or coffee granules and water. The taste of black coffee has been
adapted by many and they are addicted to it.
Still many people like to add little bit of
sweetener in their black coffee to reduce the bitterness. But the addition of
sweetener is completely optional and even I am trying hard to skip it.
I belong to Assam, the heaven of tea where the
major portion of tea is produced. So, it is quite obvious that I have the habit
of having tea since student life. In fact, in my house everyone takes tea twice
daily. Once in the morning and another cup at afternoon or evening. It is a
compulsory routine which never gets changed. It was only during winter that Dad
used to bring a bottle of instant coffee powder and we used to have coffee in
the evening. But we always used to prepare the coffee with milk and sugar.
For my work life, I went to Bengaluru and
there I have seen the craze of coffee in south India. It was a completely
different experience for me. There I got diverged from tea to coffee with the
trend and crowd. But in my PG, I noticed that most of the girls drink black coffee rather than regular
coffee. They told me the advantages of having black coffee and how its far
healthier than regular coffee.
Honestly, a cup of black coffee is way
healthier than regular coffee prepared with milk and sugar. Then I started
taking instant black coffee everyday other than
regular coffee. Initially, it took time to develop the taste and I used to
prefer very mild black coffee. But now I am addicted to its taste. It makes my
morning so refreshing with a healthy kick.
Black coffee recipe is one of my favourite
breakfast beverages because it is so
simple and easy to make. It requires only 2 basic ingredients which are easily
available in any kitchen pantry. The best part of the recipe is that it is
highly customizable, and you can prepare it according to your own preference.
You can make it strong or mild. Even you can add or skip sweetener from it. You
can add your preferred sweetener like sugar, honey or maple syrup etc.
Black coffee ingredients
Coffee powder: The primary ingredient of the recipe which provides taste,
flavour and colour to the beverage. You can choose choice of your coffee
powder, whether it is prepared from fresh coffee beans or instant coffee powder
for the recipe
Water: Another most
important ingredient for the recipe which provides body to the beverage. Use
clean and pure filtered water for the recipe.
Sugar (Optional): Sugar reduces the bitterness of the black coffee, but the addition of
sugar is completely optional. I have used caster sugar for the recipe, but you
can also substitute it with brown sugar.
